The eclectic and unique ‘London Dandy’ tweed armchair created using a fully restored antique hardwood frame then lovingly reupholstered in a dark grey and blue ‘Windowpane’ 100% wool tweed fabric created into a fitted ‘Jacket’ with matching buttoned cuff armrests and contrasting piping.
The piece proudly wears a fitted Persian blue velvet waistcoat with contrasting buttonhole detail and fitted neck roll.
Finishing off the piece with a tailored cotton collar, Liberty of London print necktie and matching fitted handkerchief pocket detail.
Handmade pheasant and duck feather plumage dressed brass ‘Shotgun’ cartridge lapel corsage.
Original turned front wooden legs resting on black brass roller castors.
With a whimsical view of London in mind, we have fitted to the piece a very rare antique shield button which was found by Mudlarkers in the River Thames to the lapel of this armchair.
