Truly unique one-of piece of sympathetically restored original 1916 World War 1 aeronautical history created into a unique stunning table complete with 8 vintage balloon backed mahogany framed chairs with embroidered RAF roundel seats.
Beautifully made laminated mahogany arched 2 piece jointed legs resting on floor pads, Original fully restored laminated mahogany 4 bladed propeller with original restored 24-carat gold leaf ‘Roll of Honour ‘handwritten script to blades together with original ‘Lang Co Propeller Ltd Weybridge’ manufacturer’s label.
The Central boss of propeller is stamped and overlaid with 24-carat gold the words ‘BE2C Single Seater L.P. 2422 + 6298 12 CY RAF 4.’
Bespoke central brass bosses with a laser engraved original photograph of the biplane with propeller surrounded by its crew to the centre of the table.
Stainless steel pins and brass nuts retain the whole piece together, complete with storage bags etc.
Polished brass crossover support wires fitted to legs to echo the wings of a Biplane.
Complete with 8 Vintage mahogany tapered leg balloon back chairs with embroidered RAF Roundel organic linen seats.
Central 200cm x 1cm toughened glass tabletop with 2.5 cm bevelled edge resting on 8 adjustable solid brass supports with rubber pads.
